Around the 17 minute mark, Amer “Miracle-“ Al-Barkawi managed to get a double kill to even out the score. Team Liquid were able to bounce back around the beginning of mid game bringing the score 16-10 in favor of Liquid. LGD fought valiantly as they were able to steal the Aegis from Liquid, but it was not enough to win the game. Liquid was able to push the middle lane shortly after. The game was decided when Liquid.Miracle scored a triple kill around the 31 minute mark at the mid lane. After this pivotal clash, Team Liquid was able to go for the final push. Liquid.Miracle proved too hot to handle for LGD in Game 1.

Once more, Liquid.Miracle dominated the match with a score of 10-1 on his Huskar. Despite LGD being able to get first blood early on in the match, they were not able to sustain the early advantage. At the 16 minute mark, all tier 1 towers on both sides were already down. Liquid relentlessly pressured LGD into staying on their side of the map with Liquid.Miracle scoring even more kills. Trades in favor of Liquid continued until they were able to push the mid lane around the 23 minute mark with the Aegis up their sleeves. After taking down the middle barracks and obliterating LGD’s last line of defense, Lasse “MATUMBAMAN” Urpalainen pushed the bottom tower to secure the victory for Team Liquid.

At the end of the day, LGD was eliminated from The International 2017. Team Liquid will now advance to battle LGD Forever Young tomorrow in the Lower Bracket for a spot in the Grand Finals.
