Versatile big man Ranidel de Ocampo was the main piece in a three-team deal that went down on Monday.
The trade, which was reported on the league’s official website, involved TNT, Meralco and Phoenix which acted as a conduit between the sister teams.
The KaTropa sent De Ocampo to the Fuel Masters for the rights to Norbert Torres and a 2017 first round pick. Phoenix then sent RDO to Meralco in exchange for Justin Chua and a 2017 first round pick as well.
Chua, meanwhile, was sent by Phoenix to TNT for a 2019 second round pick.
De Ocampo, who is averaging around 11 points and five rebounds per game this season, spent eight years with the TNT franchise, winning six titles in the process and two Finals MVP awards.
He was named an All-Star nine times and also served for Gilas Pilipinas, most notably the teams which made history in the 2013 FIBA Asia Championship and 2014 FIBA World Cup.
